About us

When my maternal grandmother, Phebby’s list of chronic conditions had become to long to memorize, my mother and her siblings lovingly coerced her to move in with us.  Our home was bigger,  fancier, with modern luxuries and  many willing and paid caregivers available. Phebby was going to be thrilled!!! Boy was I wrong!!  My mom tried her many crafts to entertain her from sewing to knitting to quilting to no avail. My siblings and I tried teaching how to navigate the remote around  the hundreds of TV channels we has, convinced she would find ‘the show’ then spend weeks binging on it , that didn’t work. As she began to drift into a sadness that resembled depression, my mother and her siblings decided to take her back home. Upon arrival , she walked out of the car and began complaining out the state of her flowers , she reached down and started pulling out some weeds before even walking into her home.  Her neighbor walked up to her and reiterated how they  had all predicted how she would react upon seeing the state of her garden. Immediately, I comprehended the effect that being home had on my grandmother.  That is why I have dedicated my life to providing solutions that assist people to thrive in the comfort of their own homes.
